Ways to Donate to Area 7
Special Olympics Georgia
You don’t have to be in the stands to cheer on our athletes. By making a donation to Area 7 of Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA Area 7), you can help us make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. There are plenty of ways to donate.
One-Time Donation
You can make a one-time donation via postal mail. Checks are accepted. One-time donations can also be made in the memory of a loved one; trusts, insurance policies, and IRA’s can all be donated.
Recurring Donation
Be a lifelong fan of Special Olympics by setting up an automatic donation every month! It’s easy and you’ll know that you’re helping someone achieve their goals each and every season.
Fundraising Events
One of the ways to donate to SOGA Area 7 is by attending one of our fundraising events. Our community includes families throughout Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Jasper, Jones, Monroe, Putnam, Twiggs, Upson and Wilkinson counties. Past events have included bake sales, raffles, breakfast with Santa, road races, walkathons, and other fun! All proceeds help our athletes compete at the local and state level.
Sponsorship
Companies interested in supporting a great cause and getting involved in the community can become a sponsor of SOGA Area 7. Sponsors are recognized at all Special Olympic events with banners and t-shirts.
Volunteering
You can also donate your time and energy to SOGA Area 7 by volunteering. Volunteering opportunities are available for people of all ages.
