Join Special Olympics in Area 7

SOGA Area 7 brings together kids and adults from Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Jasper, Jones, Monroe, Putnam, Twiggs, Upson and Wilkinson counties to experience the joy of triumph, perseverance, and determination.

Special Olympics Programs

SOGA Area 7 provides full access to many Special Olympic programs. Our competitions are available to children and adults, age 8 and above, who are identified by an agency or professional as having an intellectual disability. Our athletes can train and compete for a variety of sports:

  • Basketball
  • Bocce Ball
  • Bowling
  • Equestrian
  • Flag Football
  • Floor Hockey
  • Golf
  • Kayaking/Saling
  • Sailing
  • Softball
  • Table Tennis
  • Tennis
  • Track and Field
  • Sailing
  • Unified Sports
  • Volleyball

Special Olympics is an organization that transforms lives. Our coaches focus on what you CAN do to help all participants push their limits and grow. When training for the Special Olympics, disability is not a factor. Ability is.

Why You Should Get Involved
